Matt & Jon 'aka' Kidder & Chiefy set off
from Liverpool's John Lennon's airport at
1.30pm, the first contact with a human, was
a taxi driver with limited brain matter, who
nearly ran them down. (So what's new)
so with the sudden shock of life passing
them by, and there bikes getting damaged
they stopped at a nearest pub for liquid
refreshments & to slag off irresponsible
drivers. I guess it was one of many such
obligatory pub stops they found.
Apparently the weather was diabolical, heavy
rain and all that, it's a good job they are
hardened bikers & well seasoned travellers.
If trailfinder (Fatwhippet)
had been on this ride he would have
defiantly seen his arse . . !.
The bucketing rain halted there forward
thrust, so the first nights stop was a
Travel Inn at Mersey Farm. As to be expected
they retired to pub to fill up on food and
ale. This was not the intended stop-over,
the weather had put pay to that. So looking
forward to the next day's soaking they could
only do the sensible thing ....'Start
