Riding from Penistone To Selby
Miles covered 66.1
Miles covered from the start 144.7

you are at Full of breakfast, & thunder clouds looming they set off, a cheeky little climb up to Silkstone Common. Stopped at the Old moor wetlands centre for a break, and then on, trying to keep the wrong turns down to minimum. They arrived in Bentley for lunch, sandwiches and a pint or three and then on to the night's pit-stop in Selby. From Bentley to Carlton the two Bicyclemania.co.uk trail-finders came across no sign's to point them in the right direction, so inevitably they get hopelessly lost and wasted valuable day-light hours trying to get back on track.
A point to note, the trailfinders said 'Some of the surfaces on this section are quite trying to ride on, thick gravel'. Arrived in Selby late, A small child on the canal bank fishing said to Jon as he passed by "Alright kidder" & that's when it all started from. It is now fixed in the small brains of Kidder & Chiefy. All the restaurant's closed when they wet out for some grub, they did manage to grab a take-out pizza and a few pints. (Nice barmaids)
