56km round trip. Tarmac rd, Boggy ground,
Singletrack, Technical sections. Steep downhill sections
& Up hill's. This is a very hard route,

starting from the Sligachan Hotel: (GF. 485299)
(1)From
the car park ride over the old bridge to gate on the R. & go through. Follow the track to the
L. & ride over a small rise. (Heading up the Glen) (2)Follow the twisting technical track to a fork & bear off L.
with the main track heading up Glen. (3)At the fork in the track passing Loch Na Creitheach
on R. keep to low path by Loch. (4)Follow
track to beach head & see Bothy off to R. (Behind the big white house) Follow track over the
river & climb steeply up mountain track to summit. (5)At
summit follow the rocky track along the top then downhill to rd A-881 T.L. onto rd & follow it along
the edge of Loch Slapin to the head of the inlet. (6)T.R.
& follow the rd over a bridge, then straight away T.L. onto path. Follow the path up the Glen &
it eventually runs out. (Now bear L. across bog) (7)New
track runs parallel to you across to the L. you must cross the river at a
convenient point. (8)Follow
the track to a gate & the tarmac rd. (Watch out for wild horses) T.L. & follow the old coastal
rd to where it joins the new rd A-850 Follow the coastal rd A-850
around Loch Aimart to a T.JCT at the Head. (9)Here
T.R. & follow the single track rd around the coastal headland. (10)At
the T.JCT. T.R. & follow the main rd pass Sconner & the ferry jetty
to Sligachan. Follow the main rd big ringing
it to the hotel & finish.
