(Cliff Run) Distance
about 31.31miles / 50.41km round trip.
Tarmac road, Cliff edge sheep tracks
Boggy ground, Singletrack.

This is a very hard route, Open to the elements
Climbing to about 200m / 600ft
You will get wet feet You will shoulder, push bikes.

Bicyclemania Suggest starting from the main car park at Dunvegan:

(1)From the car park ride to the main road & T.R. onto A-863
(2)Follow the road to R.T. onto unclassified rd, SP Glendale & Campsite.
Follow the lane twisting around the headland of the inlet.
(3)At T.JCT.  T.R. onto B-884 SP. Glendale & follow coastal rd through Skindin & Colbost.

(4)At Dun Colbost bear L. with B-884 SP. Glendale & climb steeply to top.
At the top follow the rd downhill to Glendale. (Tip1)

At Glendale GO-STR-ON past the cafe on the R. & old post office on the L.
Follow rd out of Glendale uphill to Borrodale, eventually leads to Ramasig.
(5)Follow SP. Ramasig up steep long, long moorland windy rd to summit. (Tip2
(6)Follow the rd downhill to Ramasig GO-STR-ON through gate onto loose red track.
Follow the main track over rocky outcrops & downhill to some sheep pens by a stream/river.
(7)Cross over the water & follow the track to Lorgill Bay beach & cliffs, stay on the L. side.
Now shoulder the bike & climb the cliff sheep track to the summit (Cnoc Fuar)
Follow the sheep tracks along the cliff (Use your own judgment to navigate)
(8)Follow tracks to Dibidal river & find a safe place to cross. (It's best to head inland a bit)
Follow very vague tracks back towards cliffs, the ground will be boggy. (Ride it if you can)
Follow the cliff edge the best you can to Idrigill Point. (You will be pushing, look at the view)
(9)T.North at the point & head along the Loch Bracadale staying high & then drop down.
(10)Make own tracks to the bottom & GO-STR-ON through wooden gate onto singletrack.
Follow the track through more gates to a park bench on the L. & climb steeply to big gate.
Follow the singletrack downhill over raised rain gullies to a fireroad & GO-STR-ON.
(11)Follow to farm rd & T.R. on to stony rd & follow past Orbost House.
(12)Follow the rd to JCT. & GO-STR-ON (No Sign post)
(13)Follow rd to JCT with B-884 & GO-STR-ON to Lonmore. SP (Dunvegan)
Follow rd to T.JCT A-863 & T.L. SP (Dunvegan)
~ Trailfinders Tip ~
Tip1> Fast downhill, maybe sheep in the middle of the rd.
Tip2> At the summit you will be rewarded with brilliant views of the Isle of Skye coastline.
