IT'S
SUNDAY, SO ITS ANOTHER EVENTS DAY |

Bicyclemania Ride ~
Kidder &
Chiefy had a fantastic weekend camping
at the Trek marathon series held in
Thetford Forest. The sun was out and the
temperature climbed, also no wind but
plenty of dust Kidder went in for the
25km event and Chiefy the 50km event.
There was a good turn out for the
Sundays racing, but the pair had
slightly thick heads from the night
before. To much red wine and steaks,
typical of them to lord it up before a
race.
~Start~
A clean
get-away for the pair as both the
25km and 50km set off together.
Kidder and Chiefy managed to make up
quite a few places after starting
from the back of the pack. It all
slowed up for a bit in the twisty
single-track section, but the pair
still managed to pass by a few more
riders. Once onto the fire road
Kidder hit the big ring and Chiefy
followed for a short time but then
let his team mate fly away. Chiefy
set his pace for the four laps
around this fast and hot forest
track.
The pair had a great ride with no
mechanical problems and when Kidder
finished his race he stayed on the
finish line like a good team
mate to give encourage to Chiefy.
After the race the pair chilled-out
with another bottle of red wine and
more BBQ food. The pair had a nice
relaxing evening by the camp fire as
everyone else went home. |
