IT'S
SUNDAY, SO ITS ANOTHER EVENTS DAY
~ Bicyclemania Ride ~ There was a big turned out for the British Heart
Foundation charity ride, not bad considering the weather
was nice and sunny with no chance of rain to spoil the
ride.
Chiefy signed on and then set off for the run, two miles
down the road comes the first steep hill so it's a big
grunt to the top. once on top it's a fast blast to Barton
and then through the town to the Humber bridge. Lots of
riders are taking the chance for a rest and re-fuelling
with drink and nibbles. Now onto the bridge its self and
zip along dodging all the walkers and bikers coming back
on the return leg. (The views are great)
just keep your eye on the bikers who are doing the same,
looking at the view and not where they are going. Back
into Barton and then off out into the Lincs countryside.
This is the long hard bit, especially when there is a head
wind to battle with. Back at the finnish you sign in and
let them know your back, have a drink and chill-out.
