The info:
The main ride programme starts off on Sunday, With a 100km, 50km and
a 25km events all setting off at 10.00 am. All the events will be
timed, but that doesn't mean they're going to all be packed with
head-down all out pro-racers, the emphasis is on FUN & the challenge
is you against the course!. |
IT'S
SUNDAY, SO ITS ANOTHER EVENTS DAY

~ Bicyclemania Ride ~
 To day is one of the hottest days of the year so far,
Kidder & Chiefy are sorting there lives out for the
Big Welsh MBR Enduro. 2 laps of a hot, dry, dusty
course. The pair chill-out (If you could in the heat)
waiting to have the bikes sensors check before the start.
The gun goes off and all the competitors sprit off except
Kidder & Chiefy who cruise over the line and off down the
course to the first climb already passing people who have
struck problems. At the next narrow hill climb the trail
come to an abrupt holt, so the pair sit on a log and wait
for the competitors to disappear over the hill. Kidder &
Chiefy chat up the sexy roving marshal's, (The babes
from Australia). Once the bottle neck has gone the
pair get on with some hot riding, spinning the cranks up
oven-hot climbs to the feed station. With a quick fill
they are off again into a tricky little downhill section,
all clear and onto the long, long, hot, dusty
fire-road climb back to the other side of the feed
station. The pair fly down the fast winding fire-road to
the next tough grassy hill climb, that licked they hoof it
up the sun blasted climb over the ridge and downhill back
to the race village.
~
Tea Time ~
Lap 1 bagged
and lap 2 put on hold for a tea stop at the cafe.
Lap 2 was a different route to start with, but it was no
easy thing the heat was starting to get to them and slow
the pace down big time. Kidder pulled away from
Chiefy at the feed station, so he had to try and
make catch-up. The last hill climb was totally draining.
The pair refused to get off and push they
just dig in for the finial summit.
~ Last Lap ~
Kidder was
the first back over the line followed by Chiefy some 11
odd minuets later, they reckon the biggest
high-light was receiving the medal of honour from the MBR
babes.
Kidder nearly suffocated in her cleavage .......
Did you get her phone number ...!
Chiefy returned his High5 gel mix, vie his throat & then
had some shut eye for 20 mins before coming to his senses,
Kidder through he'd pass away, the old git....!! |
