~ Bicyclemania Ride ~
Our trailfinder was up for a good crank around the British Heart Foundation set route on and around the East Lancashire/West Yorkshire Moors. Chiefy was primed for the 'Gold 52 Mile' charity ride, you could of pick a lesser distance comprising of 'Silver 29 Miles & 'Bronze 22 Miles.

~ Sun, Sun & More Sun ~
The weather was set, it was warm, sunny and very little wind, what a day for cycling. The route as usual was marketed and marshalled at all the main points, plus pit-stops on route too. The gold route started at Hollingsworth Lake and headed towards Halifax, climbing Blackstone Edge with a convenient pit-stop at the White Horse pub.

~ Road Tyres Are The Orders For The Day ~
The route then crossed the East Lancashire & West Yorkshire Moors through part of the Calder Valley and on to Hebden Bridge. The route headed up Heptonstall Hill to take the high road to Burnley before descending into Todmorden. The return route took you via Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Cragg Vale and the easier route down Blackstone Edge before returning to Hollingsworth Lake.
