Two fully way-marked off-road mountain bike trails sponsored by the C.T.C. both 3.5 miles long. One is for novices and beginners, and one for the more accomplished riders. The novice route mostly uses forest gravel roads, with 500m of single-track, and not too much in the way of steep climbing. The expert trail is mainly single-track, a lot of which is off-camber and rooty. A lot more climbing and steeper gradients involved. It is possible to mix the two trails to suite your riding style. The South Downs way also runs through the park, with guide maps available at the park centre.

Distance 10 miles, 8 of which are off road Short cut trail, total 6 miles.
Grade - Main trail – Moderate, Short cut trail – Easy
Start - Gravel Hill pay and display car park, Queen Elizabeth Country Park. Signposted from the A3(T), approximately 4 miles south of Petersfield
Grid ref: 719 182.
A pleasant family ride over dramatic down land and through the rich and beautiful scenery of this part of the South Downs. The ride is centred within the country park. The short cut trail is ideal for families with small children.

Excellent Adventures

Always wear a cycle helmet.
Expect the unexpected because it'll never happen probably ....?
Give way to walkers & be friendly towards other forest users, especially sheep.
Footpaths are for walkers only,  ..... " you know what we mean "
Ride flat-out & attack every hill, it could be your last.
DANGER ! Keep away from all forest operations like, S.A.S. special training op's.
