BICYCLEMANIA  CHALLENGE 3       2008
Registration will be open from:
* 07.30am * Close at 10.30am * Start Time At 11.00am *
Starting venue:
Mill House Farm, Caravan & Camping Site, Walesby, Nr, Market Rasen, N.E.Lincs, LN8 3UR.
Course distance:
39miles / 63km on a circular marked route with 2 refreshment pit-stops on route.
Challengers will be issued with number ID, Lots of spot prizes to be won

Pre-entries closing date will be * 1st June 2008 * (After this date on-the-day tariff will apply)

Riders under 16 yrs old may now enter, Providing a parent/Guardian e-mails info@bicyclemania.co.uk
Declaring they are capable of completing the course & will be accompany around the whole route.

All riders must wear a hard shell helmet at all times during the ride.
Check your bicycle is in good working order especially the brakes.
Riders must carry enough food/drink/tools to sustain them, don't rely on the feed stop.
Riders must give way to walkers & horse-riders plus special care is required at start & finish.
The route follows some country roads, if crossing busy or major roads please be careful.
Follow all the warning and traffic signs they are there for your safety.
Please do not ride more than single file or attempt to overtake in dangerous places.
Never overtake on the inside. Stop at all traffic lights and wait for green to go.
Give good clear signals before making any turn or overtaking.
Try not to stop suddenly as there may be other cyclists behind you.
Be patient with other cyclists, some will be inexperienced, be alert & considerate to others.
Keep your distance from the bicycle in front of you and don't speed down hills.
Hills may be steeper than you think, with hidden bends, potholes or loose gravel.
If you need a rest or your bike breaks down, get off the road/track, don't stop on highway.
If you feel ill during the ride don't continue, to do so could endanger your health.
If in doubt about your physical fitness, consult a doctor before entering any form of physical exercise.
