Gran Canaria Trails

Picture a twisting track, winding it's way among the olive and orange orchards. Or climbing up the mountain side to the peak, where you'll be rewarded with a splendid vistas. ooh.! .... suits you sir ........

For those of you who don't know where Gran Canaria is, it's in the Atlantic Ocean. The Island lays off the west coast of Morocco & makes up one of the Islands of the Canaries. It's between Tenerife & Fuerteventura & a Mecca for Mountain bikers and road riders alike. With miles & miles of of dry sun-shine.


Trail 1	Maspalomas Mtn de la Data Ayagaures Maspalomas Circular trail. Medium Route effort Distance about 28.9 km / 18 miles. All on tarmac surface. Dramatic scenery.

Trail 2	Maspalomas San Bartolome Maspalomas Same way there and back. Medium/Hard Route effort Distance about 47.5 km / 29.5 miles. Dramatic scenery

Trail 3	Maspalomas La Baranda Ayagaures Maspalomas Circular trail. Medium/Hard Route effort Distance about 45 km.? / 28 miles. Go this way around & there are less climbs & more downhill's. If you are a fit mountain biker go the other way around. Dramatic scenery.

Trail 4	Maspalomas La Baranda Off/road on Barranco de la Fataga Maspalomas Circular trail on/off road. Medium/Hard Route effort Distance about 24.5 Miles / 39.4 km. Dramatic scenery.

Trail 5	Maspalomas El Lomo Mundo Museum View point Maspalomas Circular trail on tarmac. Easy/Medium Route effort Distance about 12 miles / 19.3 km. Dramatic scenery.

Trail 6	Maspalomas Barranco de le Fataga Off/road to Ayagaures Maspalomas Circular trail on/off road. Medium/Hard Route effort Distance about 23.5 miles / 37.9 km. Warning doing it this way ...... has tougher climbing sections. Dramatic scenery.

Trail 7 mmmmmm	Maspalomas Ayagaures Off/road on the Barranco de le Grand Canyon Maspalomas Circular trail On/off road. Medium/Hard Route effort Distance about 24.5 miles / 39.4 km. Dramatic scenery.
