After another full English the pair headed
on up to Dalby forest and down to the
visitor's centre for a mid morning coffee,
their they spotted a babe on a Cannondale
Jackal .... poetry in motion. Kidder was all
fired up now, so off he went and tackled a
almost imposable track, Chiefy walked up.
The pair got lost in the forest and
eventually came out near Troutbeck. They big
ringed it to Hackness and stopped off at the
Hackness grange for a pint, but only to be
turned away. 'No bikers'.!!,
So it was down the road to the next pub, but
all they were offering were peanuts and
beer, so beer it was.
The last section of off/road was nearly
over, and with about only 300 yard's to go,
Chiefy went down. 'I' am down' ...'I'
am down' he yelled. Kidder could not
see him at first because Chiefy was obscured
by thick bracken. Kidder did the best mate
thing and got out his camera. The pair
arrived at Scarborough's south bay beach and
picked there way through the mass of bodies
on the beach and dipped there wheels, got
the picture in the bag and headed off to the
pub at the old Spa on the sea front. Feet up
the pair watched the tourist go by.
