Out
of the Grinton YHA. and downhill over the
river Swale heading for Richmond. More lanes
with blankets of thorns to tackle, but the
pair manage to get through. Riding up a
rough bridleway through a field full of cows
the pair are stopped by a female farmer sat
on her tractor. She was quite agree that
Kidder & Chiefy had ridden across the field,
The pair told her that they were in the
right. (Of course) In Richmond the
pair spotted the nutter from the dorm in
Grinton, so they gave a wide berth. After
lunch in the town square, they pair big
ringed it to Brompton for a pint and a rest
before heading on to Osmotherley. Quite an
easy run today.
Chiefy got the red mist fever and big ringed
it with his golden locks flowing to
Osmotherley with Kidder in hot pursuit.
Arriving in Osmotherley Kidder spotted
Chiefy already sat outside the pub, so the
pair chilled-out watching some biker and his
babe packing up after a ride. Now with
double vision they headed up the hill to the
YHA. and check-in. The hostel was full,
mainly with walkers and a French road
cycling team. The walkers were setting off
at about 9.30pm to walk through the night.
Kidder & Chiefy when to the pub after tea to
watch the locals for the evenings
entertainment. |
