Kidder arse was suffering today so urgent
creams were needed to soothe his tender
bits. Operation over the pair headed off and
soon encountered thorn covered lanes, so no
wonder they picked up some punctures.
Chiefy's UST tyres stayed inflated but he
would have to patch them up sooner or later.
The R.A.F. were doing low flying runs, the
jets were screaming up and down the valleys
and the pair kept diving for cover. The Tan
inn was beckoning so Kidder & Chiefy cranked
it and stopped for a quick bite and of
course a pint or two. Lunch over the pair
follow the Pennine Way heading downhill to
the river Swale, stopping of at the
waterfall to take in the views & top it up
with bodily fluids.
The pair navigate the valley contours and
stopped for a rest overlooking Muker and
Keld, the sun was out so they dried off some
of there sweaty kit. Kidder & Chiefy turned
on the power from here to Reeth, as a cream
tea were beckoning. Kidder rolled into Reeth
on a flat rear so the first priority was
strawberry jam and cream tea's. After eating
there buns and swatting the wasps the pair
sort of raced up the hill to the Grinton
YHA. As usual Kidder & Chiefy ended up
sharing a dorm with a couple of nutter's.
After a welcomed shower and tea they headed
down to the pub for a few pints and recall
the days events. Bedtime beckoned so the
pair headed back up the hill in pitch
blackness guided by the stars to the mad
house...and more Jap's. |
