Fatwhippet & Kidder
'Not watching out for the traffic' |
|
 |
Feet and wheels wetted in the Irish sea kit on. Now the hard work
has really begun, leaden down with all the heavy kit for the trip
the 3 amigos turn the cranks. 2.5 miles into it and it's a pub
pit-stop the first of many. The suns out and it's hot, so three
pints each later they set off through the Cambrian countryside to
Eskdale YHA. Fatwhippet's moaning already.
"Can I go home now I've seen my arse" . . . . .
.
'No you bloody well can't, ...Get pedalling!.'
Arriving at the youth hostel in Eskdale wobbling all over the place
the 3 amigos tuck into a well needed tea. At the dinner table the
amigos are begin served by an Australian 'Shelia' student with a
broad oszzy accent. So what does Sun-Ray say "Or right Sheila, are we
having dingo tonight ..?". Well to put it mildly she went
absolutely ballistic. That night down at the local pub the amigos meet some
right nutter's by the pool table & of course they are all staying at the YHA. and
naturally in the same dorm as the amigos. (Bloody tourists) |
